Reluctantly for sale, a very original and super sharp / unpolished Heuer Autavia 11630 automatic chronograph ’Orange Boy.’
I purchased this from the original and only owner who bought it new in Martinique in the early 1970’s. He wore it for only a few years and then put it away, hence the lovely, original condition. It had a movement only service in 2010 and still runs very nicely with all functions currently working. The case is in super sharp unpolished condition and I believe all other parts of the watch are original from new. There are light marks and scuffs to the case, crystal and bezel. The strap is an aftermarket leather ‘racing’ strap in excellent condition. The tritium lume on the hands and hour markers has aged to a lovely colour, the hands have slightly faded from bright orange. The case back (amazingly) has no major tool mark damage.
