Hello everyone, Up for sale today is a pre-owned Grand Seiko SBGA001. I am not the original owner, I purchased this on reddit last year from reddit (Truthfulgarlic4). Watch comes with original inner box and papers. Furthermore, it comes with 2 extra straps (black shinola and brown ritchie strap). There are no extra links and it fits a 18.5cm to 19cm wrist. Per the previous owner, this was serviced in 2018 and it is running very well. Dimensions: 41mm Specs: 9R65 caliber 72-hour power reserve with a see through caseback. Flaws: There are scratches around the bezel and a dent at the 12 o’clock marker. Furthermore, I have taken the watch to many jewelers (even a GS AD) and they have been unable to adjust the bracelet since the links seem corroded. Maybe you will have more luck than me. The bracelet is in overall good condition. Price: $1,499 net to me. I believe this is a fair price given the condition of the watch. Pics/Tag: https://imgur.com/a/Dg10BPy

The company was founded in 1881, when Kintarō Hattori opened a watch and jewelry shop called "K. Hattori" (服部時計店 Hattori Tokeiten?) in the Ginza area of Tokyo, Japan. Eleven years later, in 1892, he began to produce clocks under the name Seikosha (精工舎 Seikōsha?), meaning roughly "House of Exquisite Workmanship". According to Seiko's official company history, titled "A Journey In Time: The Remarkable Story of Seiko" (2003), Seiko is a Japanese word meaning "exquisite" or "success" ("exquisite" is usually written 精巧 from Chinese jīngqiǎo, while the meaning "success" is usually written 成功 from Chinese chénggōng).

Seiko is perhaps best known for its wristwatches, all of which were at one time produced entirely in-house. This includes not only major items such as microgears, motors, hands, crystal oscillators, batteries, sensors, LCDs but also minor items such as the oils used in lubricating the watches and the luminous compounds used on the hands and the dials.
