Hi crew! For sale is another rare bird, the titanium IWC Ingenieur Mercedes AMG Chronograph IW372503! This is a super cool early 2000s release from IWC and the 42.5mm case wears really well on the wrist due to the titanium construction. Condition wise I would put this conservatively at 97%. There are no major dings, dents or flaws in the case or bracelet. There is a very tiny micro ding on the edge of the bezel between the 27 and 28 minute markers, which I would not have noticed if I hadn’t hit it with a loupe. Service history is unknown but the movement appears to be running really well at 5 s/d with 0.5 BE. Chronograph start, stop and reset function properly and crisply. The bracelet snugly fits a 6.75” wrist and there are no additional links or adjustability – If not you need more links, you can source them from IWC or from eBay for $200-250 apiece). Note for vintage watches: I do my best to describe any watch I sell to the best of my ability, but old watches are like old cars – they can be temperamental, need service at any time, and are generally not as reliable or as precise as a modern watch. It should be assumed that unless I know the service history the watch will likely need a service if you plan to wear it frequently. Even post-service (depending on the watchmaker), vintage watches can still be less reliable than modern watches. Please understand this before buying a vintage watch in general! The sale will come with a model / period correct IWC AMG box which is quite hard to find. The inner portion is flaking as most of these apparently do, but still a cool piece of kit.
