**Omega Speedmaster Professional 145.022-69 (made in 1970)** Good morning! **Please read the description, this Speedmaster has a story.** I bought this watch in 2019 from my watchmaker who was selling it for a friend and retiring watchmaker. The watch had been with the retiring watchmaker for about 20 years or so after a customer never picked it up. The retiring watchmaker serviced the movement and asked my watchmaker to put it in his store to sell. The watch had a few mismatched parts when I bought it. It is a 145.022-69, but the chronograph hand was from an old Seamaster chrono, and the minute and hour hand lume had turned black and had mostly fallen out. I bought the correct tritium hands from eBay and had them replaced. I replaced two of the three small hands; if you look very closely at the pictures, you can see the right minute subdial hand has a slightly darker wear than the other two. The case back was borrowed from a 105.022, a Seamaster 1069 bracelet on 516 end links. The case back was traded away, and I have a new case back with the correct style. I use the Forstner Contemporary Flat Link, and an Uncle Seiko 1171 on Omega 633 end links (the Uncle end links fold in weirdly) for the bracelet. And as if all that wasn’t enough story, because I thought this was a forever watch and I had no desire to keep it vintage due to the mismatching of parts, I had it the hands relumed by Jack at IWW with what we called a “sympathetic restoration”. He did an amazing job, and it looks very, very close to the condition of the faded tritium appearance of what I sent him. You can see some pictures of the dial in its original state here: [https://omegaforums.net/threads/145-022-69-help-identifying-chrono-hand.96283/](https://omegaforums.net/threads/145-022-69-help-identifying-chrono-hand.96283/) As for the current condition: the crystal was replaced when I bought it and has no major scuffs, the bezel has a few small dings on the edge – the worst is probably between 190 and 200 on the tachymetre (pretty minor), and the case appears to have been polished at some point with a few marks over the top but again nothing severe. With all that story, I’m listing this for much less than other recent 145.022s and at a very fair price. The 145.022-69 has the stepped dial which is a nice touch. This is a good chance to get yourself a vintage Omega Speedmaster Professional without paying a premium – which is exactly how I ended up with this watch. Summary: 145.022-69 with a polished case, replacement case back, re-lumed hands, and aftermarket bracelets. [Album](https://imgur.com/a/vF084Jd) and [Timestamp](https://i.imgur.com/shW1D5q.jpeg) **$3500** – includes shipping to CONUS. Zelle or wire. Will consider PayPal for experienced buyers. I am not interested in trades thanks. No box or papers. Comes with just the watch and two bracelets (Forstner brushed contemporary flat link, and Uncle 1171 w/ Omega 633 end links).
