Hi all, Seiko SARG005 - 40mm diameter. Great cosmetic condition. $550 shipped CONUS. Seiko King Quartz Ref. 9923-7020. Twin quartz movement. Textured dial. English/Kanji date wheel. Good cosmetic condition. $250 shipped. Seiko Type II Quartz Ref. 7546-8080 - Beautiful textured dial and applied indices. Overall good condition with some expected wear from use over the years. Comes on a bambi bracelet. Has some initial engravings on the inside of the bracelet clasp, and a small one in the corner on the underside of the case - not visible when worn. $150 shipped CONUS. Don't have the box or papers for any of the watches. Open to trades. Ideally looking for a higher end quartz as that would fit my needs better, but i'm open to anything. Can add a bit of cash on my end as well. Also selling an Apple Watch Series 4 (44mm) - Black stainless steel case if anyone's interested in that. $150 shipped. The company was founded in 1881, when Kintarō Hattori opened a watch and jewelry shop called "K. Hattori" (服部時計店 Hattori Tokeiten?) in the Ginza area of Tokyo, Japan. Eleven years later, in 1892, he began to produce clocks under the name Seikosha (精工舎 Seikōsha?), meaning roughly "House of Exquisite Workmanship". According to Seiko's official company history, titled "A Journey In Time: The Remarkable Story of Seiko" (2003), Seiko is a Japanese word meaning "exquisite" or "success" ("exquisite" is usually written 精巧 from Chinese jīngqiǎo, while the meaning "success" is usually written 成功 from Chinese chénggōng).

Seiko is perhaps best known for its wristwatches, all of which were at one time produced entirely in-house. This includes not only major items such as microgears, motors, hands, crystal oscillators, batteries, sensors, LCDs but also minor items such as the oils used in lubricating the watches and the luminous compounds used on the hands and the dials.
