**SOLD** Greetings r/WatchExchange: Finally parting with my beloved SARB011. It's a full-kit in good condition, complete with Seiko box, instruction manual, expired warranty and original tags plus 2 extra links. I purchased this JDM model directly from Japan at auction and it's been a pleasure. I never get tired of the dial's cherry, burgundy and red shades that change with the light. But this watch hasn't been getting on my wrist lately. It hasn't been serviced because it keeps accurate time, and do not know its history. Will bring to my watch repair and put it on a timegrapher at buyer's request. The photos and videos show the condition, which I'm calling "good" per Redditor u/tdoan89’s standardized scale. The case and original stainless steel bracelet show hairline desk-diving scratches. One of the two extra links is missing one of the two cylindrical tubes needed to attach it to the bracelet. The bracelet is currently sized to a 6.75" / 7" wrist. Since the 011 rarely comes up for sale, it's tough to find comps other than what's on WatchExchange. Some have called the 011 a mini-SBGH269. Based on WatchExchange sales over the past three years and considering the condition and above details, I am asking for ~~$1,550~~ **SOLD** or best ready offer. The company was founded in 1881, when Kintarō Hattori opened a watch and jewelry shop called "K. Hattori" (服部時計店 Hattori Tokeiten?) in the Ginza area of Tokyo, Japan. Eleven years later, in 1892, he began to produce clocks under the name Seikosha (精工舎 Seikōsha?), meaning roughly "House of Exquisite Workmanship". According to Seiko's official company history, titled "A Journey In Time: The Remarkable Story of Seiko" (2003), Seiko is a Japanese word meaning "exquisite" or "success" ("exquisite" is usually written 精巧 from Chinese jīngqiǎo, while the meaning "success" is usually written 成功 from Chinese chénggōng).

Seiko is perhaps best known for its wristwatches, all of which were at one time produced entirely in-house. This includes not only major items such as microgears, motors, hands, crystal oscillators, batteries, sensors, LCDs but also minor items such as the oils used in lubricating the watches and the luminous compounds used on the hands and the dials.
