Xeric is a microbrand that specializes in alternate time displays, and this wandering hour model is one of their best designs. There are three rotating disks, each with four hour markers. As the time passes, the disks rotate into position and then along the minute track, which is on the right side of the watch. The time is read by whichever hour marker is touching the minute track. I’ve included a video in the photo album. This “complication” was made most famous by Audemars Piguet and is currently offered as part of the 11.59 collection for a cool $58k.
