\[WTS\] 1979 Rolex Gold Cap Oyster Perpetual Ref: 1024 w/Rolex Bracelet. Excellent condition all around. No stretch on the bracelet. This is a gold capped model (gold capped is a much thicker layer of gold compared to a gold plated watch). Gold capping involves taking a full mold of gold and placing it over the stainless steel. This is why even after 40 years you don’t see any fading on the gold. The acrylic crystal is in great shape with no scratches or cracks. The dial is clean. The movement is keeping time and functions as it should.
