The bezel is made of a tungsten carbide alloy and therefore extremely scratch-proof. The pie-pan dial is a stunning white/silver and the single star at six is a nod to the origins of the Constellation series, going back to 1952. The Co-Axial 8900 movement, with a silicon balance spring and 60-hr PR, is quite accurate (running at +2 sec/day), resistant to magnetic fields reaching 15,000 gauss, and gorgeous to look at. The exhibition case-back even shows off its (labeled) series-mounted barrels. As noted, the Constellation was born as a certified chronometer in the early 1950s and, now, the eight stars and observatory represent the eight tests conducted by METAS. The sapphire crystal is flawless and the OEM crocodile strap is in excellent condition. I've decided to go with a slightly smaller white dial watch, so I hope it finds a happy home. **What You Get** The full kit includes the original branded box, warranty card (5 years through December 2026), master chronometer card, pictogram card, instruction manual, hang tag, and the OEM crocodile leather strap with deployant clasp.
