The stainless steel case in 45mm, blue rubber band will fit 7 3/4" in the current setup but Titanium folding clasp has micro adjustment that can extend the band for another 1/2", so 8"+ wrists are welcome. White dial, Blue hands and blue Roman numerals. Seconds sub-dial with date aperture at 6 o’clock, power reserve at 12 o’clock. Date quick set allows to adjust a date in both directions. Superbly decorated in-house manufacture movement UN-118 consists of 50 jewels with a power reserve of 60 hours. Case is a great shape with a few hairlines on the lugs, the clasp has some signs of desk diving. Founding his company in 1846, Ulysse Nardin first trained in horology under his father, Leonard-Frederic Nardin, and perfected his skills under the tutelage of Frederic William Dubois and Louis JeanRichard-dit-Bressel, two master watchmakers whose fame extended beyond the mountains of Neuchatel, Switzerland.

Ulysse Nardin's marine chronometers have seen service with the navies of some 50 countries during the mid-1800s.

In 1983, the company was acquired by businessman Rolf Schnyder who, in conjunction with watchmaker Ludwig Oechslin, relaunched the brand. Schnyder and Oechslin would aim to produce complication timepieces using modern materials and manufacturing techniques.

In 2014, Ulysse Nardin was acquired by the Kering Group, formerly known as PPR.
