FOR SALE:

Movado chronograph reference 99001. Serial dates it to 1938. Bought this for the mrs but she prefers a smartwatch.

CASE & CASEBACK: 3-piece 9k gold case made for the UK market. Size: 30 mm wide not including crown. There are the usual marks from wear and a few scratches. The lugs are thick. The case back has marks from wear and poor opening. Reference and serial, punched in the inside caseback, are very crisp. Overall good vintage condition.

DIAL & HANDS: Dial is in moderate condition because it seems the lacquer has discolored. When worn this is not as obvious as in these zoomed pictures. For some reason it is not marked Movado. Dial has Breguet numbers. At 6 o’clock: swiss made. Hands are original and in nice condition.

CROWN & PUSHERS: Unmarked original crown and original pushers in nice condition.

CRYSTAL: Plexi without any major scratches.

MOVEMENT: Powering this watch is a Movado M90. Serviced in 2023 by a master watch maker. Invoice available. Picture was made pre service.

STRAP: Generic leather strap

ACCESSORIES: None (so what you see is what you get).
