Luminox Land MIL-SPEC XL.3351.1.SET
As you probably know, this is not your typical, run of the mill, Luminox. Here is the official description of this beautiful piece:
“The MIL-SPEC (short for Military Specification) is a must-have watch for military, first responders, the rugged outdoors, as well as true sports lovers who want a unique watch that they can rely on, whether on land, sea or in the air. The Luminox 3350 series is developed and built in compliance with the technical requirements for military standard set by the U.S. Department of Defense. The movement with HeavyDrive produces a counter-impulse when subjected to shock to prevent the hands from skipping, making it more tolerant to imbalances. The movement with PreciDrive, using a thermocompesation unit, the motor pulses according to changes in the ambient and water temperature. This watch Packaged as a set, the MIL-SPEC comes on a black rubber strap with CARBONOX™ signature buckle with an additional camo webbing strap and strap-changing tool.”
I bought this piece from an US AD in April 2024 but never wore it. It is in MINT shape. It was on my night stand, next to my bed, since the day I bought it. One quick glance to it and yes, I could always tell the time at the middle of the night. As much as I love it, I cannot tie up the funds to a piece that I do not wear on a regular basis.
Here are the specs of it:
CASE MATERIAL: Carbonox (w/ screw in crown)
MOVEMENT: Quartz
DIAL COLOR: Black
CASE SIZE: 46 mm
WATER RESISTANCE: 1000 Ft (300 Meter)
THICKNESS: 14 mm
BAND: Black rubber and night camo NATO strap
BEZEL COLOR: Gray
BEZEL MATERIAL: Titanium
BEZEL TYPE: Rotating (Diver Time)
CASE BACK STYLE: Solid
CRYSTAL TYPE: Scratch Resistant Sapphire
LUG WIDTH: 24 mm
And a few quick pics of it:
Retail list price is $745 and the lowest price I found online is $600. I saw a few used ones on an auction site for $520 + ship or so. You can have mine, which is technically pre-owned but practically new in box with a signed/dated warranty card, for $500 shipped in the US. Sorry, no trades on this.
Thank you for your time…
