Up for sale is my Omega AT Worldtimer, Reference 220.12.43.22.03.001. This is the original blue with DST color coding, which is no longer in production and sure to become a collector's watch. It is in pristine condition with hardly any signs of wear. Comes with all boxes, papers and cards. Warranty card is dated 9/16/2022.
Open to reasonable offers. Price includes shipping and insurance within CONUS. Local pickup is available in San Diego, CA.
Details:
Reference: 220.12.43.22.03.001
Calibre: Omega 8938
Case Diameter: 43 mm
Between lugs: 21 mm
Lug to lug: 50.30 mm
Thickness: 14.1 mm
Dial Colour: Blue
Total product weight (Approx.): 121 g
Water Resistance: 15 bar (150 metres / 500 feet)
The exterior section of the dial is sun-brushed blue and includes vertical teak stripes and a circle of global destinations printed in red (GMT), silvery (+1h in summer) and blue (places without daylight savings).
The centre of the dial contains a 24-hour glass ring, with light blue to indicate daytime and dark blue to indicate night. The vision of Earth is created on a grade 5 titanium plate. This has been laser-ablated to create the blue ocean, leaving a relief of the continents. The contrasting colours of the Earth’s surface are obtained naturally by the laser’s chemical reaction. Another interesting fact I read is that if you draw a line between any given city through the center of the dial, it will intersect with that particular city on the dial's map.
