The Tudor Ranger is an interesting one for a few reasons: it’s modern Tudor departing from its bread and butter, the Black Bay line, and also moving away from its Rolex brother by digging purely into its own history by putting out a piece inspired by the Oyster Prince Ranger of old. A lot to love about the design in general and specifically with this reference, which has now been discontinued. The current version sadly lost the “smiley” dial seen here, so to me, this is the modern Ranger ya want! REF: 79910 SERIAL: I317XXX DATE: 2015 DIAL: Beautiful matte black with that pebbled finish seen up close and that great 3-6-9-12 layout and plenty o’ lume. All in fantastic condition! CASE: The 41mm stainless case is in good shape, of course has age related wear throughout, mostly on the non crown side and a bit on the bezel and lugs from strap changes, but looks awesome on the wrist! And with the short lugs fits even medium sized wrists incredibly well (photographed on my 6.6 inch) CRYSTAL: Sapphite crystal presents beautifully. MOVEMENT: Service history unknown but the automatic Tudor (ETA based) movement is winding and setting like butter with timegrapher showing COSC numbers at 3 seconds a day and a healthy amplitude of 310! BRACELET/STRAPS: The Ranger’s a strap monster and this set does not disappoint! Comes with the Tudor stainless bracelet that can fit up to app 7.5 inches, also comes with the Tudor brown leather strap and deployant clasp, as well as the Tudor camo colored NATO (bracelet and straps have light wear, as expected) - ya get it all with this one!
