On offer is my upgraded Seiko SKX015 medium size Pepsi divers, with sapphire crystal and lume ceramic bezel. SKX015, rarer than midsize brother SKX013, features a deep navy blue dial and classic red/blue colorways that fit beautifully with different band combinations. Condition is excellent for a neo-vintage watch: case and cashback have minor scratches. 7S26 movement was serviced last year and keeps good time, gaining less than 10 secs/day, Case measures 38mm w/o crown, 44mm lug to lug, and 20mm lug width. What's included: * Watch (duh!) * Double dome sapphire crystal w/ blue AR from Watch&Style - only W&S and CrystalTime offer SKX013/15 crystals without the bevel edge that makes the already small dial appear smaller, but the CT version only works with CT bezel inserts. * Lumed ceramic bezel insert in original Pepsi colorway from LIW * The blue Isofrane-styke FKM rubber band the watch is pictured on * New aftermarket jubilee bracelet, as pictured. The company was founded in 1881, when Kintarō Hattori opened a watch and jewelry shop called "K. Hattori" (服部時計店 Hattori Tokeiten?) in the Ginza area of Tokyo, Japan. Eleven years later, in 1892, he began to produce clocks under the name Seikosha (精工舎 Seikōsha?), meaning roughly "House of Exquisite Workmanship". According to Seiko's official company history, titled "A Journey In Time: The Remarkable Story of Seiko" (2003), Seiko is a Japanese word meaning "exquisite" or "success" ("exquisite" is usually written 精巧 from Chinese jīngqiǎo, while the meaning "success" is usually written 成功 from Chinese chénggōng).

Seiko is perhaps best known for its wristwatches, all of which were at one time produced entirely in-house. This includes not only major items such as microgears, motors, hands, crystal oscillators, batteries, sensors, LCDs but also minor items such as the oils used in lubricating the watches and the luminous compounds used on the hands and the dials.
