Imgur Album: https://imgur.com/a/oo8wE9M Today I have for sale an SPB299 1968 Heritage Diver's Special Edition 'Save The Ocean' - Colloquially known as the Marine Master 200 or Baby Marine Master. The glacier blue dial is meant invoke the colors and textures of the ice of Antarctica, where Seiko diver's watches became essential equipment for the Japanese Antarctic Research Expedition (JARE). Its bolstered by Seiko's hardened coating to help resist scuffs and scratches. Powered by a 6R35 movement with a 70 hour power reserve, its running well within spec at +/- 10 seconds per day depending on dial orientation. Its also got an AR sapphire crystal, dark blue ceramic polished bezel insert, LumiBrite lume and follows ISO standards for scuba diving to depths of up to 200 meters. The case is in beautiful shape and only has one or two very minor imperfections from handling. The bezel also has a spot where it looks like it got up against something and added some small hairline swirls, but these are extremely difficult to see in normal light. It has the factory bracelet that has never been sized, is still in the manufacturer plastic wrap and is cosmetically perfect. This watch was a sales presentation sample, so it has been handled, but never "worn" in the sense that had an owner that wore regularly wore it. It includes a box, manual and blank warranty card. I'm also including a premium nylon NATO strap that I thought looked amazing with the iceberg dial. Asking price is $699 USD via PayPal.
