Hey, a good idea is a good idea, and a reversible watch is not only a good idea, it’s just freakin’ cool! There have been a few iterations of the Basculante over the decades, but the reference 2405 might just be my favorite, you get all of that engineering in arguably the best case size, at 24MM by 35MM it sits on the wrist perfectly! And this is a great example complete with original Cartier strap, deployant buckle, and box - perfect for gifting! REF: 2405 SERIAL: 7508XXX DATE: app 2000 DIAL: Classic Cartier, gorgeous off white dial with a light grain texture and those staple Roman numerals - just beautiful! Dial is in great shape with only very light wear seen under a loupe/macro. Same goes for the sapphire crystal, light wear but presents beautifully. CASE: The 24MM x 35MM stainless case is in good shape with light wear throughout, as expected given the age. Mostly seen on the upper portion of the bezel with some micro scratches on the case sides. The flipping mechanism is nice and crisp, locking in securely, and the reverse side is very clean and free of any engravings. And of course that classic blue cabachon, here on full display above 12 o’clock. All in a great example that wears like a glove!
