Hello fellow watch enthusiasts! This is my first post here of what i hope to be many transactions. I have a couple transactions over at avexchange Incase you would like to check the legitimacy of my account, and I am also willing to FaceTime video this piece and introduce myself for further confidence in buying with me! UPDATED price is $720 Shipped to continental USA OR $700 Zelle/ F&F. Also willing to do local near Orange County, CA. Up for sale is my Seiko GMT which I acquired less than a week ago. I only wore it once, for around an hour, until funny enough, I got the chance to buy my grail watch (Explorer 1124270). The explorer 1 is now on my wrist, and I will be looking to downsize my collection within the following weeks. This is the reason why I will be selling this incredible watch. Honestly, I debated on selling it or not due to the intricacies of the piece but thought it was a bit too similar to the explorer. The company was founded in 1881, when Kintarō Hattori opened a watch and jewelry shop called "K. Hattori" (服部時計店 Hattori Tokeiten?) in the Ginza area of Tokyo, Japan. Eleven years later, in 1892, he began to produce clocks under the name Seikosha (精工舎 Seikōsha?), meaning roughly "House of Exquisite Workmanship". According to Seiko's official company history, titled "A Journey In Time: The Remarkable Story of Seiko" (2003), Seiko is a Japanese word meaning "exquisite" or "success" ("exquisite" is usually written 精巧 from Chinese jīngqiǎo, while the meaning "success" is usually written 成功 from Chinese chénggōng).

Seiko is perhaps best known for its wristwatches, all of which were at one time produced entirely in-house. This includes not only major items such as microgears, motors, hands, crystal oscillators, batteries, sensors, LCDs but also minor items such as the oils used in lubricating the watches and the luminous compounds used on the hands and the dials.
