This pre-owned watch is in 88% condition due to slight marks on the lugs, bezel, and throughout the case. The strap is in 90% condition due to slight creasing and marks on the clasp. Also included is an aftermarket strap in 92% condition due to slight creasing and marks on the clasp. The aftermarket strap will accommodate a wrist size up to 7 and 1/2 inches. Originally purchased in February 2022, this watch comes with its inner and outer box, digital instruction manual, warranty card & original purchase receipt, hangtag, and the one-year Topper Pre-Owned Select warranty.

Baume & Mercier’s story begins in 1830 with the founding of a family business. Brothers Louis-Victor and Célestin Baume opened a comptoir horloger (watch dealership) in Les Bois, a village in the Swiss Jura. Their company developed rapidly and earned an excellent reputation by creating exceptional models incorporating cutting-edge innovations. Loyal to their motto “Accept only perfection, only manufacture watches of the highest quality”, the Frères Baume company enjoyed rapid growth. Louis- Victor was a true visionary who already intuitively sensed women’s interest in watchmaking and gifted his daughter Mélina a gold pocket-watch in 1869.
