**Up for sale is a luxurious late 1970s to 80s Eterna Royal Quartz Kontiki in the rare bi-colour configuration with the dark blue dial. A very handsome and thin integrated bracelet Genta-esque contribution by Eterna to a spectacular time in horological design history. Limited individually numbered edition** **Description:** Beautiful dark blue-greyish dial with vertical stripes, gold coloured indices, gold coloured hands and gilt printing. With its approx. 110 grams in weight it feels very solid and quality in hands. The bezel is 18k solid gold. The original Eterna clasp was replaced with a flip lock clasp that offers micro adjustments. The thick gold plating on the bracelet's middle links is still pretty good. The bracelet has minimal stretch if at all and wears great. The crystal is scratch free. The AR coating is pinkish which looks quite charming above the dark blue greyish dial. The AR do seems to flock off a bit (check out the video). The watch is powered by the Swiss Made ETA 940.111 which was at that time considered the world thinnest quartz movement The watch received a new battery in early December and works without issues. **Price:** The watch used to sell back in the days new for $3500. In today's money this would be something like 13-15k!
