For sale is my omega aqua terra golf that has been my trusty desk diver as I surfed excel spreadsheets. Only worn while working at an office job and no physical activity. Condition is used but good with any indications of the watch being pre-owned coming from natural wear and tear from brushing against a desk while I type on my keyboard. Comes with the "20mm Super-J Louis Watch Band compatible with Omega Seamaster 41mm, 316L Stainless Steel Brushed V-Clasp" that I purchased from Strapcode. Asking $2999. Omega calibre 8900 automatic movement, based upon Omega 8500, containing 39 Jewels, beating at 25200 vph, and has a power reserve of approximately 60 hours. Scratch resistant sapphire crystal. Pull / push crown. Transparent case back. Round case shape. Case size: 41 mm. Band width: 20 mm. Tang clasp. Water resistant at 150 meters / 500 feet. Founded at La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland in 1848 by 23-year-old Louis Brandt who assembled key-wound precision pocket watches from parts supplied by local craftsmen. He travelled throughout Europe selling his watches from Italy to Scandinavia by way of England, his chief market. After Louis Brandt's death in 1879, his two sons Louis-Paul and Cesar, troubled by irregular deliveries of questionable quality, abandoned the unsatisfactory assembly workshop system in favour of in-house manufacturing and total production control. Due to the greater supply of manpower, communications and energy in Bienne, the enterprise moved into a small factory in January 1880, then bought the entire building in December. Two years later the company moved into a converted spinning-factory in the Gurzelen district of Bienne, where headquarters are still situated today. Their first series-produced calibres, Labrador and Gurzelen, as well as, the famous Omega calibre of 1894, would ensure the brand's marketing success.
