The Chronomatic Consortium united Heuer, Léon Breitling, Hamilton-Büren and chronograph specialist Depraz & Co. The result was the Calibre 11, a modular construction based on a micro-rotor Buren movement and a Dépraz chronograph mechanism. In fact, it’s one of the first automatic movements to reach the market, on par with the Seiko 6139 and the Zenith El Primero. Of course, it's also the same movement that powers the Carrera, Monaco, and the Autavia. This watch has a massive 48 mm case made by EPSA. Luckily, the crown is placed on the left side, so it won’t dent your wrist while you wear it.  The lugs are also short, so it wears smaller than you’d expect.  The DDE+BR 11525/67 inscription on the caseback indicates it’s one of the earliest examples, dating it between 1968 and 1970. Watches made after February 1970 had the 486728 inscription instead. **Details & More** **Condition:** Good with some markings on the case and dial.
