As I've recently been into more affordable pieces again, there have been a handful of models I've been meaning to cross off my list. This was high up there. Crafter Blue has long been a mainstay in the affordable dive watch market, primarily as a great source for rubber dive straps for various watch models. You don't see their actual watches often, and after handling this honestly stunning diver, that's a shame. The Mechanic Ocean MK II line is a unique spin on the ever-popular SKX family, with CB's own spin. It's a flatter case with more pronounced lugs, a bezel that could fit in on a Panerai, and a dial scarcely seen on watches in this segment. The white/black fumé with subtle touches of electric blue is such a killer look. I love loud pops of color - especially when it's done tastefully and doesn't drown out the watch. This is a diver that'll fit in great at the beach or in the office.
