R811 AD Product Description: Brand: IWC Model: Yacht Club Reference: R811 AD Year: 1960s Movement: Automatic Case Material: Stainless Steel Caliber: Cal. 8541 Size: 36mm Lug width: 18mm Straps: Horween Nubuck leather in matte olive color Box & paper: none Conditions: Original patinated dial with applied IWC logo & hour markers. Original stick handsets, with some portions of minute hand missing its lume. Full stainless C-shape case with original fish signed crown. It is powered by the robust IWC calibre 8541, the same used in the 812 Aquatimer with the renown Pellaton winding system, which was characterized by a then innovative double-sided winding automatic rotor and features a clever shock-absorption system. That is the same movement used in the Ingenieur models of the era. The movement is clean and running well, however the service history is unknown. Price : $1,450 with free conUS shipping.
